- First things first..take time off! Easier said than done, right? haha. Fortunately, our office will be closed for 8 days at the end of the month and I couldn’t be more excited. I think it’s so important to take time to unplug, be present and focus on the real reason of the Christmas season.
- Do something special on my birthday. My birthday is the 12th and since it’s in December I feel like I’ve always gotten the short end of the stick..I know I’m not the only one here. This year I want to take the weekend to do something a little extra special and separate it from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
- Bake! Ya’ll I want to bake so bad this year I can’t stand it. I LOVE to bake but never find the time to do it. I find it so relaxing! This year I’m dedicating my time to it..even stretching that goal a little bit to say that I’ll package it up and deliver the goodies to a few people.
- Begin a challenge of some kind- maybe a countdown to Christmas outfits or something..? Not sure just yet!
- Find a new coffee recipe..I love coffee but I get tired of it easily. Give me some good recs for the holiday season, please! I like coffee my hot!
- Journal..and when I say journal, I would like to set a few minutes a day aside every single day to journal to where it becomes a habit.
- Get all of my shopping done and gifts wrapped by next Friday! That me be a long shot but I’m doing my best to stick to it!!
- Get ready for the new year: Write down my personal and professional goals of the year, get in a good routine for work/me/family time, start the new year with a good mindset, clean my closet out, focus a little more on my health, dial back my sugar intake and figure out ways to be more involved in my church’s leadership.
Alright guys, that wraps up a few of my main goals for December. I know we all have goals of our own that we want to accomplish, but at the end of the day, it’s gonna be a busy month! Even if we don’t get everything checked off, let’s remind ourselves of the blessings we HAVE vs the things we don’t. ..He Is the Reason.
