Happy Tuesday! Hope ya’ll are doing well! I’ve had so many questions lately about my laptop bag that I carry to work and I thought it would be neat to go ahead and tell you guys my favorite things to carry in my work bag that not only makes my day better at the office but more productive as well!

1. Notebook/Planner
Make your day more organized by carrying both of these! I’m always making notes throughout the day and I don’t love to fill up my planner with the extensive amount of notes I write so keeping a notebook AND a planner close by allows me to stay focused oddly enough. Every morning when I get to work I spend my first few minutes looking at the entire day, making new plans and looking forward to what I have going on during the upcoming weekend. Below are some cute ones that make for a fun work day!
2. Makeup/Toiletry Bag
I often times like to carry a little bit of makeup in my bag to touch up throughout the day- the organizers below are great options because they’re silicone! Easy for cleaning! And super cute π
3. Cute Pens
If you’re an aesthetic girly- make you work day brighter little by little by adding some cute pens to your bag. Poppi pens are cute as well as the one ones I’ve tagged below- both write amazing and keep your desk looking a little more aesthetic.
4. Airpods/Headphones
On the days where you need a little pick me up or some motivation- invest in some airpods or headphones and download yourself a few podcasts. Podcast Blog Here if you need some recommendations! π Or if you’re not into podcasts- try your favorite playlist! Grind through the work and before you know it, it’s 5 pm!
5. Bluelight Glasses
These speak for themselves. If you’re experiencing headaches at your desk job and you’re not wearing blue light glasses- this could be the problem. These are $13.99 and can save your eyes!
6. Snacks with Protein
If you’re struggling finding snacks that you like that are also high in protein…try these! I promise they taste very similar to a Wendy’s frosty. Sometimes I’ll have one of these shakes for breakfast or an afternoon pick me up. π
7. Glass Water Bottle
A refillable water bottle of some kind will help keep you on track of your daily water intake throughout the day, but it will also help to alleviate any kind of drowsiness or head aches you experience during your work day! I love carrying one like below because it’s sleek and slender enough to fit in my backpack!
8. Tea Bags
Ya’ll I love drinking tea during my work day! It keeps me focused, hydrated, awake and provides other benefits to my body. I drink hot tea to keep myself from drinking 4 cups of coffee a day! haha. It really helps. Dandelion Root, Blueberry and Ginger are a few of my favorites. Try drinking some tea if you’re having those afternoon crashes around 2-3pm!
9. Lipgloss/Chapstick
You can’t forget chapstick and lip gloss! I’m always reaching for the basic Aquaphor when my lips are dry! I’ve also ran across an urban decay ‘plumping’ lip gloss lately that’s a neutral color and perfect for the office! It’s a brown shade but not too dark and it doesn’t carry the tingling to your lips like most plumpers do! I found mine at Marshalls but you can find it here at Nordstrom rack!
