It’s already New Years Eve! Ahh! I can’t believe the year has flown by so fast! So for my birthday, I was surprised with UK vs Louisville basketball tickets and I thought I would share some of my favorite ‘cold weather’ college game day outfits that are easy to create last minute that are super affordable, cute, stylish and can be worn to other things! There are so many cute ways to look stylish for college game day using pieces like flannels, puffy coats, vests, scarves and other winter accessories! And if you’re anything like me (wait till the last minute) you need 2 day shipping! haha.
4 Tips to Create EASY, Chic Game-Day Outfits for Winter
- I think the best way to add character to your style in the winter months is adding some sort of plaid scarf. This will tie your outfit together. You can’t tell much by the photo but I added a little sparkly white/gray/blue scarf and wore this outfit with a gray coat.
- Dress in monochrome for a timeless look with a pop of color. Just like the blue vest- you can add a colored beanie, scarf, flannel etc.
- Add a cozy pullover (like tagged below) to some leggings with sneakers, leather leggings with boots, or jeans and booties! So many ways to style a pullover in the winter!
- If you’re outside OR at a hockey game, you can wear a cute matching beanie or a turtleneck under your pullover for a warm, chic look.
