It’s officially November and we’ve already started seeing dryer weather. That only means one thing….dryer hair! haha. I think moisture is key to giving your hair volume so I’ve done a little refresher on my favorite products I’m using right now.
Products I’m loving for fuller , moisturized hair!
Olaplex– if you heat style your hair, you NEED to invest in this. I like No. 6 Bond Smoother and No. 8 Moisture Mask. Both of them are really good and serve similar purposes. They provide moisture while protecting hair from further damage.
Color Wow Dream Coat– I love this product because I have naturally curly hair. This keeps my hair from becoming fizzy and curly in humidity. You need this if you struggle keeping your hair straight or freshly blown out!
Aveda Pure Abundance Style Prep– I like to limit the products I use on my hair but since I have very fine hair I like to use a spray of some kind for extra volume- this goes on damp hair, at your roots and provides a ton of extra volume. You’ll love it if you like voluminous blowouts!
Shampoo & Conditioner- I go back and forth with my shampoos depending on how my hair is feeling. I like to use Shea Moisture castor oil shampoo and conditioner, Aveda Nutriplenish and Pureology Hydrate Sheer. I switch between all of these and find they work best for my hair!
Hair Extensions– You can read my hair extension story here: https://whitney-lee.com/?p=593 I do still wear hair extensions when I go out, take photos or just want to give my hair some length and more volume. I love the Hidden Crown Halo. In the shade dark ash blonde highlights.
Hair rollers– Now if you want some major volume- get yourself some hair rollers haha. I just round brush my hair with a hair dryer and put the rollers in while my hair is still hot.
Hair Regrowth Serum– I use a regrowth serum in the morning and night because I struggle with hair loss, especially in the front. I’ve seen a huge difference in new growth by using this! I’ve recently switched to the Camille Rose Brand and love it just as much as anything else I’ve used in the past.
Collagen– I can’t leave out collagen 🙂 LIQUID collagen. Of course hair health starts from the inside- invest in some liquid collagen. This will change your hair and skin game! Promise!
