PETITE OFFICE OUTFITS | BEAUTY & all things life

ABOUT ME

Hey Ya’ll! I’m Whitney, most people call me Whit. I live in the sweet state of Ky in a small town- surrounded by the ones I love most. I’m a sucker for country music and a back road. I prefer mountains over a beach and I take my coffee with a hot chocolate mix- everyday.

I love to hear people’s stories….. what I love most is how someone’s story can be such a guide for someone else. That’s what I want this little space to be. Where we connect, inspire, tell our stories. Talk about all things from fashion to travel to health or to what gets us up in the morning.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do you work full-time? Yes! I’m the director of firm development at RDS Wealth here in Campbellsville. We help clients live a happy and worry-free retirement. I love what I do- wouldn’t change it for the world. It brings me joy to know that we can help clients the way we do.
  • Is your hair real? Nope! Wish it was. I’ve never had thick hair but I experienced some hormonal changes a few years ago and lost a lot of my hair. I wear the hidden crown halo hair extensions. This provides me with a little bit of length and a whole lotta fullness/volume.
  • How tall are you? 5′ 2″ on a good day 🙂 Send me all of your petite finds!
  • How old are you? 28!
  • What kind of dog is Londyn? Maltipoo. She’s the best.
  • Why did you start a blog? My hope here is to inspire women of all ages that we can dress professional in the workplace and still feel feminine, classy, and empowered at the same time. I’m petite and so finding things that fit the best hasn’t always been the easiest thing to do. I will share my favorite outfits for all things, how I style them and where I find the best deals. I also want to share what’s real in life- in whatever area of my life that may be.
  • What did you go to school for? Well, I did and I didn’t. Probably something I used to kick myself in the butt for but I don’t have a degree. I attended Campbellsville University right out of high school with all the plans in the world to graduate as an accountant. Life happened- my dad passed away suddenly when I was 19, I dropped out of school, got married, and fast forward a few years, I’m here. I don’t regret the decisions I made along the way, they’ve made me the woman I am today and I wouldn’t trade my life for anything different.
  • Whats your makeup routine? I will put together a full detailed routine for you guys and post it here. I swear by Maybelline. Been using it forever.
  • Do you have lip filler? No. I just over line my lips a bit with lip stick to make them look a bit fuller.
  • How do you edit your photos? I shoot with my camera or my iphone and edit all my photos with Alicia Fierro’s presets. They’re great, I love them.

1. Doing your best will look different every day.I 1. Doing your best will look different every day.I like to think about becoming 1 percent better every day. Some days your best is crushing your to-do list. Other days it’s showing up. Both are enough.
2. You don’t have to carry it all alone. Especially for leaders, work can feel overwhelming. Delegate tasks and empower your team!
3. Rest isn’t unproductive. Take a pause, getting rest will allow you to show up as your best!
4. Build micro rituals that re fill you! I love creating a slow morning routine that gets me started for a great day!
5. Keep your ‘WHY” in front of you. Burnout hits faster when your drive becomes disconnected from your purpose.
